Bambang started his session with the time line of Viet Nam.  Dr Kitti will send the format or template of the WiMax Design next week, 19 December 2008 to the Lao Team and VietNam.  Kittiwat questioned how many locations WiMax unit will be located.  One week is needed to review the WiMax performance in one location.  Two locations are estimated, one location will be in one general or typical area of Viet Nam and one location will be in special area in Viet Nam, such as: in mountain area.

Bambang conveyed how many bandwith needed to send the data and pictures.  Dr Kitti explained that it depends on the data, video, voice and pictures needed to be sent that are gained from their User Need Assessment Report. He mentioned also he should get all the performance plan information from Net Nam and Lao PDR in March 2009 in order to do the Performance Research.

Bambang informed that in Lao, we will buy the sectoral modular tool only to enhance the capacity to the existing e-government Wi-Max system and establish the CPEs as planned.

Dr Kitti ensured that we should have different established network from the e-government Network in order to avoid the problem with the existing network in Lao, as we will not interrupt it or to be interrupted by them.  The 1st Wimax course will be conducted in NECTEC around mid of March 2008.  The 2nd WiMax course will be conducted in November 2008 for another a week (5 working days) near Chiang Mai where NECTEC is building the WiMax system in this area.
