The second CISCAI WiMAX Engineer Workshop lively broadcast from NECTEC WiMAX Pilot Project Site - Mae Hong Song, Thailand.
The video streaming technology has been designed to be viewed even by computer networks that are located behind network firewalls (a firewall is an integrated collection of security measures designed to prevent unauthorized electronic access to a networked computer system). The (streaming) system does not require a public IP address to perform streaming server capability and can be viewed with any internet browser such as the ubiquitous Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome.
Mini Workshop on the Art of Information and Communication Technology for monitoring and management of Avian Influenza was held in Jakarta on 16 June 2009. The Mini Workshop was aimed to share the information and experiences among the Indonesian AI stakeholder.
The 1st CISCAI WiMAX Engineering Workshop was also broadcasted live over the Internet, using video streaming technology and protocols developed in-house by Mr. Bambang Wijayanto. The live video stream could be considered as monumental, since it was a first-of-a-kind technology adopted and implemented in any of ASEAN Foundations previous events. The internet viewership response was quite significant. There were 134 viewers during the whole length of the 4-day workshop, who hooked up to this live video feed.
